Our in-house instructors have at least 2 years of teaching and dance experience and have performed for various concerts and events. Our classes are conducted in a fun and comfortable environment where there are ample instructor and students interactions with very small student – instructor ratio so that the students can learn more things during the class period. Students are definitely free to ask any question when in doubt. D.O.P.E Studio Singapore is a 16-month old dance school providing dance courses and performances to corporate, major celebrity concert, promotional events and private functions. They do frequently upgrade and hone their skills in New York, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. There are various exciting and enjoyable hip hop and fitness dance classes for children to teenagers to adults. Our classes are conducted in a fun and comfortable environment where there are ample instructor and students interactions with very small student – instructor ratio so that the students can learn more things during the class period. Students are definitely free to ask any question when in doubt. S tudents could choose from a wide range of courses such as kids/adult hip hop, girl-style hip hop, MTV, locking, reggae, jazz, slim funk & fitness and so on. Prices start from as low as $14 per class. New students would receive special discounts and benefits.
‘F & F’ aka ‘Friends & Family’ PRIVATE CLASSES is our most popular dance class whereby students and/or family of Six and above, will open a dance class of their own. They will decide on their dance course’s schedule and timing at their own time and target. They could also choose their dance genres for any of the lessons too. It is a special class not to be missed! Do gather friends and family members to dance and stay fit!! Be it you are a total beginner or already have some experience in dance, don’t be shy and make your first move to learn something new that could change your life and boost your confidence. Feel your body moving to the latest beats and do not hesitate to join us for whole lots of fun!
KPOP PRIVATE CLASSES Students can form their own mini private classes of Kpop and choose between any of the Korean pop group dance moves that they hope to learn. Be it SHINee, Big Bang, 2PM, Beast etc etc etc. You name it we have it!!! Feel free to call us to enquire!!!

Ash Ali began his career as a hip hop dancer at the age of 21. A few years later, he became a choreographer and gained recognition with the help of youtube, through working at various prestigious dance studios in Singapore. His recent repertoires include conducting master classes & workshops in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. He also choreographed winning competition items for the champion team in the Open Category of Danceworks 2010, as well as the Modern Dance Category in Impresario 2007.
He was honored to be invited to showcase his dance style and choreography skills through Singapore's first ever, 'Choreographer's Ball 2010'.
Ash has been involved in TV / print commercials such as Starhub, McDonald's and Canon. Corporate events, ie. the launch of SATS at Changi Airport, were not excluded from his repertoire.
Ash has been to Australia, Japan and Los Angeles; to improve on his dance foundation, technique and vocabulary. Since the day he began dancing, he had always believed in self-improvement and humility.

TERMS FOR PRIVATE CLASSES
1. Minimum of 6 to start a class, maximum 15 for a class.
2. We specialise in friend's bonding class and family bonding class whereby friends or family members can form up a class of minimum of 6 and start a class of their own WITHOUT any outsiders or other students, in other words, just themselves and the instructors. Best of all, they get to choose their frequency of the class and do not need to stick to a fixed schedule just like normal classes.
3. New student registration fee of $25/- applies.
4. One time student registration fee is applicable.

TERMS FOR ALL CUSTOMERS OF DOPE STUDIO
1) Please do attend the classes for all the Lessons being signed up for. The studio reserves a right not to give any make up lessons should the student miss the class due to personal reasons ( Exception would be given only when early notice of 48 hours is given, again it is a case by case basis and no guarantee that the studio would approve of a make- up lesson)
2) The classes is only for those that the studio management has received registration from , only those who register with the studio are allowed to be at the studio during all classes / workshop.
3) Content of classes must be strictly kept confidential at all times and never to be release unless written approval by the management
4) No outside Snacks, Sweets and Drinks to be brought in the studio. Drinks and snacks can be purchased at the reception area
5) Payment can be done by cash or Nets only
6) For private classes with 8 or more people registering, the one-time registration fee of $25/- would be automatically waived off such that students from the group of 8 or more who initially paid the $25 would receive the amount in full upon completion of their 8 hours course, provided that they do not wish to continue lessons with the studio.
7) After any amount of payment is made to D.O.P.E STUDIO, there is strictly 100% no refund in any means so please do turn up for what you have paid for as the money you paid was immediately processed for what you have paid for. All payment are not exchangeable or refundable in any ways.
8) All particulars must be real at the time of filling up as we do need to contact you. Should there be any changes , kindly inform the studio right away. Should there be a change of timing or date of class, it would be easier for the studio to inform you accordingly
9) The studio reserves a right to change the timing, date of classes due to unforeseen circumstances but never the least, we would try not to change if everything is smooth going. This includes all Sponsorships, clients who rent our studios that we reserve the right to amend their bookings dates / timings due to unforseen circumstances without prior notice.
10) Any form of Fliming or video taking is only for self use and not to be uploading online.
11) Choreographs learnt are strictly confidential and not to be taught to others.
12) Please be aware that there risks of injury associated with all forms of dance or exercise. The studio management would not be held responsible for any loss, death or injury during the classes. When you sign up a course or class with D.O.P.E, you assume all such risks and agree that the dance school/ the organising party will not be held responsible in any way for any such injury you may suffer or a result of the classes or any workshops organised by the studio.
13) The studio Management would not be liable for any loss of belongings, if you do bring valuables for practices or rehearsals, it would at your own risk.
14) The studio reserves the right not to entertain unlawful or non reasonable request from any of the students/ parents/ relatives of students. The studio reserves the right to make the decision of whether the request of the student is reasonable and whether to adhere by the request.
15) Please remember to collect receipt once any payment is made. The studio reserves the right not to admit any student who do not have a receipt on the actual day of classes.
16) Private class/ group students are not allowed to cancel their lessons on the same day itself regardless of any reasons and this rule is not negotiable regardless of any reasons, as this is to be fair to the instructor taking the class who has blocked off the time for your class which would unable him/ her to commit to the other commitments of other classes.
17) At the studio’s discretion, classes with an incomplete six people to form a private class are sometimes allowed on a case-by-case basis an extension of registration deadline for the remaining students. However, deadlines for the registration and payment for the remaining students are to be strictly kept to by those students who have signed up and paid latest by the stipulated deadline given by the studio. For students who fail to keep to the deadlines given by the studio, the studio reserves all rights to forfeit students of their slots for classes and also the course fee and registration fee that was initially made by students who have already registered.
18) For private class students, you are supposed to inform the studio 7 days in advance whenever you want your next class to be held. The studio reserves a right not to entertain class bookings should the booking come in less than 7 days in advanced. Cancellation of private class has to be done 48 hours in advanced or else considered forfeited.
19) To avoid misunderstanding, booking of classes can only be done over the reception counter with any D.O.P.E Studio staff. The studio reserves the right to not entertain booking or requests of classes or via phone calls or smses.
20) All students have to understand respect goes both ways. Our studio is committed to provide good service to its clients. But should there be an instance whereby the client , verbal or physically abuse our staff, we have the right to report it to the police and take legal action against that individual. We do not allow vulgarities or violence in the studio premises or on its staff.
21) Registration of Classes can also be done via our website or blogspot or maybe through sms. Kindly take note that by making payment via cashless mode and giving your full names to register for any classes/ workshops would indicate that he/she has read fully the terms and conditions before deciding on joining. Students who made payment via transfer or cashless mode have to abide by this rules and conditions.
22) At the studio’s discretion, late payment for classes or workshops of which a deposit has been made, is sometimes allowed on a case-by-case basis by the studio out of goodwill. However, deadlines for payment are to be strictly kept to by students and the remaining amount is to be paid in full on the stipulated date given by the studio. For students who fail to keep to the deadlines given by the studio, the studio reserves all rights to forfeit students of their slots for classes/workshops and also the deposit sum that was initially made for classes/workshops.
23) The studio reserves the right to amend terms and conditions when it deems fit without prior notice given to the students/ participants.
24) With effect from 20th May 2011, all students are to attend course and private classes in the studio t-shirt and dance sweatpants. The compulsory studio t-shirt can be bought at $20/- per piece and for the dance sweatpants, students may opt to purchase from outside vendors or from the studio of which the selling price of the latter would be cheaper at $25/- per piece when bought together with the compulsory studio t-shirt at a package price. If students wish to purchase from outside vendors, they would need to get the dance sweatpants that are of the same material and design as those in the studio.
